The Lonely Island - Boombox (Feat. Julian Casablancas)

I don’t usually go out for this kind of thing, but I have to say that this is one of the funniest Saturday Night Live-derived video clips I have seen in a long time. Everything about “Boombox”, from the shitty Macho-Man-Randy-Savage-meets-hipster get ups to the guest spot from Julian Casablancas is damn near perfect. Andy Samberg clearly gets exactly what makes indie culture so idiosyncratic and, well, so fucking dumb. While it isn’t as in your face as “Jizz In My Pants”, I think that arguably makes it that much more effective.
